Opportunity: Journeyman Locksmith
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off,
Job Location: Wood buffalo region
Major Responsibilities
- Install, adjust, repair and re-key all types of locking devices
- Perform various locksmith responsibilities including but not limited to providing immediate response to client requests to open locked doors; disassemble locks for repair and replacement of parts;
- monitor and maintain inventory systems
- Perform work within existing master key systems
- Represent the FMA brand as a front-line contact with client.
Qualifications:
Education, Skills & Experience
- Holds a valid security workers license under the Alberta Security Service and Investigators Act
- Minimum four years locksmith experience
- Minimum four years operational experience in facility operations
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
- Assa Abloy experience would be an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean drivers abstract
- CSTS-09 & OSSA training certificates
- Licensed Locksmith Certificate Alberta Journeyperson or Red Seal or be an indentured Apprentice
- Must be bonded
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated a history of safe Locksmith related practices
